About

We help children engage their bodies and minds through fun and educational activities.

Our history

Established by Chick-fil-A Founder S. Truett Cathy in 1985, WinShape Camps launched life-changing summers with our very first overnight camp. That early experience set the stage for how we do camps today—creating fun and faithful places for young people to grow. What we do makes a huge impact, serving 40,000 campers, their families and 800 summer staff each year. On top of our attention to hospitality and service is a commitment to excellence – all qualities we admire and share in Chick-fil-A.

Tribute to Our Founder and Late Proprietress

At the heart of our school’s story is a woman whose dream gave birth to a legacy — one that continues to shape lives and inspire generations. We honor the memory of our beloved Founder and Late Proprietress, a remarkable woman whose life was defined by service, compassion, and an unshakable belief in the power of education.

She founded this school not for fame or fortune, but from a deep conviction that every child deserves access to quality education, no matter their background, status, or circumstance. In a society where economic barriers often limit opportunity, she stood firm in her vision: that education must be a right, not a privilege.

We remain forever grateful for her life, her sacrifices, and her unwavering dedication. She gave this school its soul — and gave generations of children a great start to life.

May her soul continue to rest in peace, and may her legacy live on through every child who walks through our gates.
